Tunji Balogun has since 2015 been guiding the success of artist like SZA, BRYSON TILLER, KHALID, GOLDLINK, and the Grammy award winner CHILDISH GAMBINO, the 34-year-old RCA’S Executive VP of A&R started out is flourishing career as an intern at Warner Bros. records while still pursuing his degree in college. After which he got a call in 2007 to come work at Interscope.
He worked on areas like promotion and publicity before deciding A&R is his best fit where he built a very nice relationship and while championing the young Kendrick Lamar who use to go by the name K dot and was jayrock’s hypeman, he got a chance to work closely with the rapper on the release of his first studio album Good Kid M.A.A.D city.
In 2015 he got a call from his lawyer few days after the Grammy that led to an A&R position at RCA, we can dispute the fact that he as the best ears in the business because just three weeks he already signed Tiller and Goldlink he also had a hand in the signing of Sza to TDE which RCA partnered with for the release of her debut album titled CTRL, he also bolstered the signing of our very own wizkid to RCA.

Early this year Tunji Balogun took the next step as the co-founder of the keep cool branched label from RCA created by himself, Courtney Stewart, Jon Tanners and Jared Sherman. He described the label as “a safe-haven for artists and creatives who want to do things differently.”
