Sade Confimed That She’s Dropping An Album Soon.
It`s been over seven years since British-Nigerian singer Sade graced fans with a full-length record, and while her 2018 single “Flower of the Universe” (featured in Ava Duvernay’s A Wrinkle in Time) temporarily satisfied listeners, a recent announcement of a forthcoming album should arouse many enthusiasts.
The singer’s saxophonist and longtime collaborator Stuart Matthewman told Rated R&B that “we’re working on a new album.” Adding, Sade Adu and company have “a bunch of songs,” and that “when we’re happy, then we’ll let everyone else hear it.”
Sade, who is known for taking her time between releases last dropped a studio album in 2010, namely, Soldier of Love. Ten years earlier, the singer released Lovers Rock in 2000. While there’s currently no time stamp on her seventh album.
Either ways, we are waiting in full force.
