Meek Mill Was Released Earlier Today.
The past 4/5 months hasn’t been a good one for the Maybach Music Group star, Meek Mill as he’s been in prison based on one or two crimes.
It’s really been a journey and all efforts to get him released has been in vain but The Philadelphia Supreme Court stepped in on the case and he was released on bail.
He took to his instagram page to announce his release and send appreciations to his family and friends.

He did the same on twitter as well,
I’d like to thank God, my family, and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time. While the past five months have been a nightmare, the prayers, visits, calls, letters and rallies have helped me stay positive.

To the Philly District Attorney’s office, I’m grateful for your commitment to justice. I understand that many people of color across the country don’t have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues.

In the meantime, I plan to work closely with my legal team to overturn this unwarranted conviction and look forward to reuniting with my family and resuming my music career.

Pennsylvania Supreme Court has issued and order releasing @MeekMill on bail. As we have said all along, Meek was unjustly convicted and should not have spent a single day in jail. pic.twitter.com/Xo0D8BAcku
