Cardi B has become the first woman with five simultaneous top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Tying both Drake and Kendrick Lamar, she becomes the third act overall to reach this milestone. Drake had it eight times in 2016 while Kendrick hit that milestone once last year.
Cardi B, who is the first female artist to reach this feat with her first five singles, was before tied with Beyoncé with four hits on the chart.
This week, Cardi has the No. 1 song on the chart with Bruno Mars’ “Finesse.” It’s her second No. 1 after “Bodak Yellow” which topped the chart for six weeks in September and October of last year. “Finesse” is also No. 1 on the Digital, Streaming, and Airplay Gainer charts, and it’s No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Elsewhere on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, Cardi is featured on G-Eazy’s “No Limit” (No. 3), Migos’ “MotorSport” (No. 4), “Bartier Cardi” (No. 7), and “Bodak Yellow” (No. 10).
Cardi took to her Instagram to celebrate her achievement. “I’m so happy,” she gushed, while praising her Hot 100 run. “I’m so proud of myself.”
